Verre d’Onge
Verre d’Onge is a design studio dedicated to contemporary glassmaking, exploring the expressive possibilities of glass through sculptural forms and refined craftsmanship. Blending traditional techniques with a contemporary sensibility, the studio creates objects that sit between functional design and artistic experimentation.
Every piece is hand blown in Montréal by Jérémie St-Onge. His practice, whilst respecting the traditions learned from masters, allows for a more instinctive creative approach. When the craft worker is also an artist, there is space for spontaneity and nuances. Every piece has an unforeseen aspect that distinguishes singular from ordinary. This is not a production, but rather a large collection. The design is in the arrangement, the ensemble defines it.
