Based in Tokyo, we+ is a contemporary design studio founded by Toshiya Hayashi and Hokuto Ando. With a research-driven, experimental approach, the studio explores alternative design that encourages coexistence with nature and society, rethinking overlooked materials, waste and natural resources. Notable projects include Nature Study, Urban Origin and Hidden Layers. we+ has gained international recognition, receiving the FRAME Awards Designer of the Year 2024, and its work is part of the Vitra Design Museum collection.
